This will assume you want every message entered into the journal. Otherwise you must hit the "J" key to copy the text into the journal.
Turn this option OFF to eliminate all unique item restrictions. Disabling unique item restrictions will reduce victory points awarded by 10%.

If you attempt to attack an enemy with a missile weapon but are too close for missile weapons, your character will switch to their melee weapon and then attack.
This option will display extra info about each item in the Items/Trade/Shop screens. It shows the Damage and Armor Rating Adjustment and To Hit Adjustment below the item name.
Switch your main monitor to 256 colors on startup without bothering to ask you first.
At the end of each round a message is displayed to announce the beginning of the next round. This option will allow you to turn that notification on or off.
At the end of each round a warning message is displayed reminding you of any bleeding characters. This option will allow you to turn that notification on or off.
The only way to bandage a character in combat is to click the bandage button or type 'B' on the keyboard. If you hit the 'Auto' button your character will NOT bandage another bleeding character by default.
This will blank out the desktop. This will make the display look nice but you will have to select 'Hide' from the application menu to switch the game to the backgroud.
Faster spell resolution will assign damage to all affected creatures in a quicker way. This can speed up large battles by quite a bit.

Eliminates the need to drag items left or right across the screen to trade, buy or sell items. The dragging of items may cause problems on some older machines. Turning this option on may help.
If you try and leave the treasure collection screen while money is still in the money pool, you will be asked if you wish to go back for it.
You will have to hold the command key to drop items. This will help prevent you from dropping items by accident.
Realmz will put a green, blue or red hash mark around the edge of the screen during combat to give you an idea as to where your friends and enemies are relative to you. If you don't want to see those hash marks select this option.
This will increase the speed that spells move across the screen to their targets. (For those that hate to wait.)
When a character is selecting spells, it will default to the last spell cast by that character. Otherwise it will reset to first level spells.
